woman waiting, praying

Daria sat outside the Room.

The Beeps that she shouldn't still hear, but does,

telling her, mom is still alive.

A guy in a chair with no legs parked opposite her.

"Hey"

"Hey"

After that amazing deep conversation...

He began.

"You visiting?"

"Yeah, My mom."

He frowned, making her Actually feel worse.

"I'm sorry,"

Yeah, a guy getting used to no longer having legs feels sorry for her.

"What would you do if a wizard came and said to make a deal for your moms health."

He leaned in.

What would you give?"

The Standard. "Anything".

"How about seven years of your time for giving to the needy."

She raised a brow.

"I'm in pain, this distracts me."

"In a heartbeat."

Panicked voices came from the room..

Daria went on edge.

"What's your name?

Never mind, sorry."

By the time she came out, only the chair was there.
